Photos: Detroit's Greek Town Blues Man

“Travelin' Blues performance was one of the best we've had in the 5-plus year existance of the Jazz & Blues @ the (Southfield) Library series! It was also one of our larger crowds and Travelin' had everyone in the palm of his hand from start to finish.

His songs and his stories made people laugh at times and other times silently nod their heads in agreement with things that he said. His performance brought smiles to faces young and not-so-young, and his music had them clapping and finger-popping. It was a magic evening.“

-- Don McGheee
Venue: Southfield Public Library

"Travelin Blues has come in to his own. He won the Detroit Blues Society's 2004 Challenge. Support this blues man he's paid his dues."
-- Ric Hampton

"Damn right, he's got the blues! Wow. What a voice! In this age of people just stringing together a bunch of classic "blues" licks, and learning how to growl a little then calling that Blues, it is so refreshing to hear some 'Real Deal' Blues. "
-- J-dawg

"This is raw blues, recorded like it used to be."
-- rico productions
